Le Monde : Masdar, City of the Future

An assignment for the French newspaper Le Monde during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. Simon Roger wrote a story about Masdar, the City of the Future. The city project built next to the Abu Dhabi International Airport is designed by the British firm Foster and Partners. It is based on renewable energy sources including the solar energy. While the full project is still in progress, Masdar City already hosts the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
